Julesburg, known as the “Gateway to Colorado”is located in the northeast corner of the state. Julesburg is the first town in the state greeting travelers heading west to the Rocky Mountains. Julesburg, with a population of nearly 1,225, boasts an elementary and high school, a large, commercial daycare facility, medical clinic, assisted living and nursing home, several churches, a swimming pool, tennis court, golf course and a healthy economic climate.
