We have a broken power line on the 300 block of East 3rd Street. We are going to turn that circuit off here shortly. This will affect both East and West 2nd and 3rd Streets. And some more on the west side of town. This should be a 30 minutes to an hour! I'll try and keep updates coming.

We will be flushing the fire hydrants next week, Tuesday through Thursday. While we are doing this, you could possible notice a loss in water pressure and even some "yellowing" of the water. This is normal and if you happen to get the discoloration, the only remedy is to keep flushing the lines. Thank you

Was told the switch back will be within the next hr. We will give a 15 minute heads up before it happens.
We just received word that the work up at the substation needs more work. What that means is that we will run the generators again and you will only see a disruption of power when we return to regular power. Should be around 1 pm. This is for Thursday October, 16th. Also if everybody would limit their power usage, that would help us out as well. Thank you
We are starting to run the street sweeper again. If you could please move any cars or trailers off the streets for so we can get as much picked up as possible would be appreciated. We will be sweeping as long as there are leaves falling! Thank you
