The Town Board met at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 6th 2026. One of the topics discussed was the Sheriff Department’s Facebook post from March 23rd regarding the Town’s Resolution 2012-04, which allows golf carts and utility terrain vehicles within town limits. This was the first meeting of the Town Board since the Sheriff Dept’s Facebook post and the Board discussed to draft a new Resolution to rescind the current Resolution 2012-04. If the Town Board decides to draft a new Resolution, per the Sheriff Dept’s post, residents would then need to register their golf carts and such with the County Clerk (DMV) Office. A decision by the Town Board will be made at the regularly scheduled May 4th meeting.
